Description
ROUWEN = MOURNING / MOURNING = ROUWEN. Mourning was one of the very first Dutch Death metal bands. Mourning excisted from 1989 till 1997 and released a split album with Eternal Solstice in 1992 and a full length album in 1993 on legendary Dutch label Foundation 2000 (Gorefest The Gathering). In 1997 Mouring changed their name into Rouwen (Rouwen is Dutch for Mourning) and wrote an album with lyrics in Dutch. The album ‘Rouwkots’ (something like ‘Raw Puke’) was recorded with Hans Pieters at Excess Studios The Netherlands (Sinister Thanatos Hail of Bullets). This release also contains a legendary radio interview with the band from 1997 and 2 rare rehearsal tracks. Completely remastered by Arco Wolf (Ides) and Phil Nugteren (ex Eternal Solstice Mourning / Rouwen) and brand new artwork and booklet design.
